Our Lead Pastors
Noah and Stephanie Nickel
Noah and Stephanie Nickel have a heart to see a church that lives out the kingdom of God in Northeast Ohio. They are committed to be a part of a church that holds to the teachings of scripture, that embraces the full expression and experience of the Holy Spirit, and to be a part of a church that sees men and women grow in their faith and purpose.
Noah is originally from Milwaukee, WI and Stephanie from Warren/Canton, OH. They met at school in Oklahoma, got married in 2005 and have been serving in ministry together ever since. Noah, Stephanie, and their three kids, Paisley, Bear, and Sunday are believing God to make history in the city of Cleveland through King’s Church and for people to know that in Jesus the best is yet to come!
King's Church – Our Story
In 2015, Pastors Noah and Stephanie Nickel had a vision to plant a church in Cleveland, Ohio. Filled with a drive and a passion to see people come to know the life changing grace that is found in Jesus, and to see a city and its communities transformed, Noah and Stephanie sought out to build a church of people from every age, race, and walk of life. Along with the help of an incredible launch team, King’s Church opened its doors on September 25, 2016 in Lakewood, Ohio.
From the beginning, King’s Church has focused on building a church for anyone to come to. From skeptic to saint — a church of everyone for everyone.
We believe that the life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and energy of Sunday Experiences, the authenticity of living in community, and the unity of a team makes King’s Church one that people love to attend.
The vision is to live out the prayer Jesus teaches us to pray. That God’s Kingdom would come and be established here in our city, neighborhoods, schools, and families the way that it is in heaven. We sum it up with this question “If God were in charge of _____________ what would it look like?” That is how we determine to live our lives and lead our church.
Since 2016, King’s Church has seen hundreds of people commit their lives to Jesus, we have grown to multiple Sunday morning experiences, and have been able to make an impact through outreaches in the city of Cleveland.
We would love our story to become YOUR story. We believe that God wants to do great things through this church and that happens by people grabbing a hold of the vision and committing their time, talents, and resources to seeing more people reached in our city than ever before. We believe the best is yet to come and invite you to come alongside as we continue to grow God’s church together. At King’s Church we are a place to belong.

Our Beliefs
King’s Church is a non-denominational church that believes in the authority of the Christian scriptures for our life and practice.
We started in September of 2016 with a group of people who wanted to see a church that connected with God and each other. To be a safe place to bring doubts and questions and also to truly experience the power and reality of God in our lives.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the “new birth”, we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the “breaking of bread”.
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
