How did you get connected to King’s Church?
After moving back from San Diego, and getting settled in Cleveland, we were searching for a church to call home. We searched for several months and still hadn’t found a church where we felt a strong connection. Our good friend Joe Hance, from Faith Family Church, told us about Pastors Noah and Stephanie and their mission to start a church in Lakewood. We came out the second week, and immediately knew this was where we needed to be. We are so grateful to God for using our friend to point us in the right direction!
What do you love most about being part of the team?
Karl: The thing I love most about being part of the team, is that it isn’t just a team, but more of a family.
Liz: The best part of it all is being around people who share the same desire to be vessels for something SO much greater than ourselves. I love that our church community demonstrates not only a love for God, but a heart for all people.
What are the first 3 words that come to mind when you think of King’s?
Inclusive, sincere, fun!
Karl: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
Liz: Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgement without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgement. (James 2:12-13)
Favorite Bible character?
Our favorite is Jesus, but if we have to pick another…
Liz: Mary Magdalene
Where is your favorite spot to hang out in Cleveland?

What’s your go-to meal?
If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, which one would it be and why?
Karl: A honey badger because they’re the baddest animal in the world.
Liz: A dog. They’re the best animal on the planet, and I could be trained for service or therapy work!
