VISION

“TO CONNECT PEOPLE WITH THEIR GOD GIVEN PURPOSE”

LEAD PASTORS

noah and steph

Noah and Stephanie Nickel are the lead pastors of King’s Church in Cleveland, OH. They are filled with a drive and a passion to see people come to know the life changing grace that is found in Jesus and to see a city and its communities transformed. With a heart to build a church of people from every age, race, and walk of life, they are focused on being a part of a church that ‘looks like heaven’.
Noah is originally from Milwaukee, WI and Stephanie from Warren/Canton, OH. They met at school in Oklahoma, got married in 2005 and have been serving in ministry together ever since. Noah, Stephanie, and their daughter Paisley are believing God to make history in the city of Cleveland through King’s Church and for people to know that in Jesus the best is yet to come!

OUR DNA

JESUS is our message

We have no other message than the good news of the gospel: Jesus lived, died, and rose again.  It is only in Him we find true hope, peace, and purpose for our lives.

PEOPLE are our purpose

As a church we exist to reach people of all ages, races, and walks of life. They are the heartbeat of Jesus and the purpose we are a church. The church should be a place of hope, help, and healing. We believe you can belong before you believe.

UNITED we’re unstoppable

The most effective church is a united church. One that fights for each other, encourages one another, and has each other’s backs at all time. When we are united…nothing is impossible!

HONOR is held high

We’re committed to honoring full circle. We honor those who lead us, who live along side us, and those we are called to lead. Honor is not optional, it’s a lifestyle. We’re a ‘young church’ that holds high this ‘old value’.

CREATIVITY is crucial

We believe creativity is an essential part to what we do.   The arts are gifts given to us by God that should be embraced by the church. God’s love is too big to be expressed in only a few ways. We reach people by any means necessary.  Creativity is a key component to that.

ENERGY is essential

We’re a church full of life! We believe church should be enjoyed and not endured.  We believe in putting energy into all we do.  Energy produces excitement, excitement produces expectation, and expectation is the road our faith travels on to see God move.

GENEROSITY is a gift

We’re committed to living our lives open-handed. Our time, talents, and resources are given to us as a gift and we want to steward these gifts well. We believe we’re called to give sacrificially and practice extravagant generosity. When we live this way, we believe God then trusts us with more.

SERVING is supernatural

In a culture that can become extremely focused on ‘self’, we believe that call of Christ is to focus on others. When we serve others through various methods in the church and in our communities we believe the spirit of God is there with us doing a great work that can’t be done outside of living lives of servitude.

GRACE is guaranteed

Regardless of your background, beliefs, lifestyle, King’s Church is a place where ‘grace is guaranteed’. Regardless of whether or not we agree or see eye to eye on all things, the starting point is grace. We want to be known for what we’re for rather than what we’re against. We are for people. We all need grace.

FUN is underrated

This life is too good to be lived boringly. Fun is one of the most underrated values in church….not here! Let’s party baby!!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the “new birth”, we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the “breaking of bread.”
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
